who will make it out of this horrible class for hall of fame? mcquire?
and just what are numberS for KEVIN APPIER THAT JUSTIFY HIM GETTING NOMINATED F OR HALL?
Alomar at least should make it in hopefully this is also the year Raines and Blyleven will go in. They both deserve it. It isn't stats that are keeping MacGwire out so who knows with him? If they don't want to let Bonds in they're never going to be able to let MacGwire or any of the other steroid users in either though. Barry Larkin, Edgar Martinez and Fred McGriff also have pretty strong cases from the rookie class but they are borderline and I doubt any of them will go in on 1st ballot.
Appier: 169 wins 3.74 ERA 1.29 WHIP. He does not belong in the Hall of Fame and he won't be voted in but he had a good career and deserves to be on the ballot at least (not sure I can say the same for Jackson, Reynolds and Segui though)
