Do tennis players get to keep their grand slam trophies?
Do the tennis players get to keep there grand slam trophy(australian open, french open, wimbledon, and US open)? I would think they do but i have heard that they get a replica, is this true?
That is correct, except that this doesn't always apply to the other tournaments after the majors. At the majors, the players who win don't actually keep the trophies that they hold during the awarding presentation. That is just to show that they won the tournament, and that is the trophy representing the tournament. They get a replica of it, which is smaller of course, but it is a trophy for them of course being that they did win. At some of the regular tournaments, the champion actually wins and keeps the trophy that they lift during the awarding.

Britney Spears - Live from Las Vegas $8.53 With a November 2001 Las Vegas performance that became an HBO special, Britney Spears headlines a visual spectacle that surpasses even Vegas's stage shows. There's no musical emphasis (usually the original recordings play whil... |

DLR Band $7.94 Diamond David Lee Roth is back in all his self-congratulatory glory. "My game is better than ever / Winners, they come and go / Legends, they're forever," he boasts on "Slam Dunk!" while his backup musicians play a galloping, surging rhythm that sounds much like early Van Halen. This will come as good news to the legions of old-VH fans mourning the group's hastily aborted reunion effort of the mid... |
